We discussed copyright overall, songwriter splits, music publishing, performing rights organizations such as ASCAP and SESAC, mechanical licenses through Harry Fox, and how to track royalties after signing with a publisher or record label.
You will also hear more about the differences between work-made-for-hire deals and copyright assignments and how this affects getting song rights back down the road.
